Recover lost password from windows xp

This tip is extremely useful both for noobs as well as system admins.Sometimes we set a  strong  password to our system so that nobody can trace it inturn. we dont remember it after coming from a vacation .Sometimes our friends or relatives who wanna play a prank on us may change the password . To help us in such situations ill tell u 2 tips to help us recover our lost passwords.


TIP1:- Many of us may aware of this .Just reboot your system press f8 to login to safe mode  now enter via admin acc and change your password.Thats it so simple but this method only works if the hidden admin account is not password set by others.By default it doesnot have any password.

TIP2:- This is my most favourite one ,most hackers will know this trick.To do this download a cd called Ophcrack from here Ophcrack After downloading the ISO file burn it into cd using any cd writing software.Now insert this cd  and boot the system whose password is to be cracked .The system boots from this live cd using rainbow tables it cracks the password and dispalys the usernames and their passwords .This can used when parents or system admin sets password to our system to prevent us from playing u can use this cd to boot the system an do the magic.But dont use it illegal .Enjoy folks..
