Run as administrator in windows vista/7 run box

In windows vista/win 7 to run an application or command with administrator rights You hav to right click on the application and select Run as administrator option.Now if you type any command in run box then you cannot right click on it to run as administrator.

To overcome this use Ctrl+Shift + Enter. You will be prompted with  User Account Control dialog.but it will  open up the command or program you wish to run  in Administrator mode.
Note You can use Alt + C to quickly close the User Account Control dialog in Vista, or Alt+Y in Windows 7.
