Google dictionary

Here iam going to show a cool trick to use google as a dictionary
goto www.google.com in the space provided to type the search query type as shown below
define:required word
ex:-  define:apostle
google displays several meanings which are closely related to the word apostle the information is coming from a variety of dictionary related websites,and ther's link to the full entry of each site.

Earlier we used to search like this.
Now they have provided a dedicated interface to efficiently use dictionary feature in google.It supports wide number of languages It comes with a list of 28  languages and allows us to have inter language lookups. after each meaning you will also find listing of other dictionaries where u can find the word. You can now access google dictionary interface by visiting http://www.google.com/dictionary
